Vrukshathon - Half Marathon 2026

Organised by: Fitness First India in collaboration with the Pune Forest and Police Department

Date: May 31st, 2026
Venue: Police Ground, Shivaji Nagar, Pune

Our Mission and Vision

Vrukshathon 2026 is a unique and professionally organised event combining a passion for fitness and environmental awareness. We aim to promote healthy lifestyles, spread environmental consciousness, and create a memorable running experience for all participants.

We believe in co-existing with nature, which is why every participant will receive a tree sapling. Preserve your sapling, show its growth, and earn free registration for next year's event!

The Past and the Future – The Vrukshathon Nursery

The Vrukshathon Half Marathon was inaugurated on 10th June 2018 by Fitness First India. In its first year, over 20,000 participants received tree saplings. Those who nurtured and showed sapling growth were rewarded with free registration.

To accommodate all participants, the Pune Forest Department has allocated space in the city to create a 'Vrukshathon Nursery', where your tree will be planted and cared for. Participants are welcome to visit and witness the living legacy of their run.

All Participants Will Receive:

  • Dry-fit T-shirt
  • Commemorative Finisher Medal
  • Runner’s Breakfast
  • Bib with Timing Chip (10K & 21K only)
